Urban Partner Logistics: Assistant Operation Manager
Urban Partner Logistics LLC is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner looking to hire an Assistant Operation Manager to support drivers delivering Amazon packages in the East Bay! We require three months of experience delivering packages and will provide training, and all the tools you need to become a successful Assistant Operation Manager.
Note: This requires the Assistant Operation Manager to open and close one day a week
Duties and Responsibilities
Operations
- Interview and train new drivers
- Manage the team while on road and coordinate support so all packages are delivered
- Help drivers pack and load products onto vans according to the company’s specifications
- Maintain ongoing communication with Amazon route dispatchers
- Prepare a weekly schedule of drivers
Fleet Management
- Conduct fleet inspections of vehicle before departing
- Coordinate vehicles in and out of the auto shop
- Maintain records of vehicles in and out of the shop
Driver Support
- Monitor driver performance to ensure all staff are meeting company metrics
- Prepare weekly performance reviews of drivers
- Reinforce safety procedures
- Reinforce Amazon standard operating procedures
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting pay $22 an hour
- Paid training

Basic Requirements
- Eligible to work in the US
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Pass a pre-employment drug test administered by a third-party Medical Review Officer (5-panel test including Marijuana (THC), Opioids, Phencyclidine (PCR), Cocaine, and Amphetamines)
